My trip to Paraguay

So i went to Paraguay because nobody goes there, i arrived to Ciudad del Este which can only be desribed as a dirty kip :) ..Would you believe that the Mona Lisa was closed for Sundays, "disgusted so i was"
After learning this good news i turned to head for the bus station, I thought to myself for a moment...I think i better go back to the border to get my stamp or my aunt will have pulpitations lol, so i went back and didnt take the 007 risk again
On arrival to Asuncion i felt like i was back in Central America, it has a kind of Guatemala City feel to it except people look a little different.
When i got lost later in the evening i explained to a police officer that i lived close to one of the many parks which tented homelss people. He responded "yes the indigeno", is´nt it typical that no matter where you are history repeats itself.
Ive never seen a place so dead as Asuncion on a Sunday, but you cant beat when the locals get on the bus to sell you cheap food and you do´nt have to move an inch, theres a business idea for back home.

  1. I think the best place's I've been is Granada and Ometepe, I liked Antigua too. The worst was Tegucigalpa where we had to stop for one night, we were toled you can leave the hotel on your own, I understud compleatly from the taxi drive to the hotel!! lol. San Jose don't like that much at all, I got a creepy feeling there, also lots of barb wire everywhere not a good sign. As far as Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua I think the people are so lovely, they don't have much by far, but they always have a smile on there face. Amazing people.
