Colonia del Sacramento, Uruguay

I got the morning Buquebus ferry from Buenos Aires to Colonia del Sacramento, in Uruguay,
or as Elaine (Bren´s mate) put it, UR A GAY.
I had been forewarned that in the winter its only a day visit and sure enough it was small enough to see in a day and far too cold for the beach in their winter.
The views from the ferry were pretty as i had planned for a sunny day. Although its a place for a day visit in the winter it is still worthwhile as its old town is well preserved and as you can see my the photos below has a nice Uruguayan charm.
PS Sorry for the lack of videos but my camera is having problems of late and as such is on a disciplinary process.

Buenos Aires, (2) Argentina

Arrived back in Buenos Aires, party party party and got some well needed shopping in.
Stroling around Buenos Aires park
Julietta showed me around the real Buenos Aires, and it was class to have a cool local girl to show me around. After plenty of walking we chilled and tasted some excellent coffee in the famous Tortoni cafe.
The bidge in the background represents the straight leg of a female tango dancer. Lev and Joan who i both met in Bariloche partied it up in Kika nightclub. Gary a good lad from Offaly was well up for the craic, thats him belowed with the tongue out.
Clcik video below to hear some god regathon.
Random tree in a porch window.
After walking the Palermo parks i was suprised to see the end of the evenings horse racing, which is in a dead central location of Buenos Aires.
Tango backpackers crew free from work and ready to party.
Julieta brought me to a really cool metropolitan bar in BA which is behind a magic door so to speak, It was pretty cool as there its not known to general public and hidden behind this big black door with no advertisements or signs. http://www.puertauno.com
I got the train out to Tigre for a walk by the canal, it was pretty cold so it was short lived.
When i got back i found three fellow Irish sharing the dorm room. The craic was 90 from there on ,)
Good man Ste and Alex
Sunset was probably the best nightclub ive ever been to, its a latino club in buenos aires provincia, so yes its a treck outside the capital but there´s regathon all night so its definitely worth it. After my longest night i met few yound lads outside the club at 8am and i caught the end of their rap on vid below.
Palermo Park For my second last day headed back to Tigre for an awesome fun day.
Have absolutly loved Buenos Aires, actually sad to be leaving and have met some great people here. If you havent been here put it into your diary as its a must do, il be back :)
