Bocas del Toro, Panama

The last few days i have spent my sunny time in Bocas del Toro, an island just off the Panam Costa Rica border. To get here we had to cross the train border which is pretty unusual and i had to buy a useless ticket out of Panama to prove that im leaving the country, so after that debacle i got on a boat to Bocas del Toro.
I met a nice guy from France and a group from Greece. We hit the tiles hard every night and last night i went to Aqua Lounge which required a boat taxi to dance it up on the water. Founds few weights on walk and little lad below wanted to show us how strong he is :)
The beaches are gorgeous and yesterday on a boat tour three of us got so sick of paying for everything that we legged it from the Rangers on Zapatilla National Park, it was really funny as they wouldnt get into the sea as they would get wet and we wouldnt go on land whilst they were there. I jogged the perimiter of Zapatilla island and luckily i didnt bump into them. After coral diving, dolphins and lots of swimming we saw flying fish, i couldnt belive it, fish with wings, it was so cool and they were so fast. Put Bocas del Toro on a map as a place to visit. Tomorow i will make my way towards Panama city.

  4. Cant believe that you run the whole island or that you waited for a bus for 2 hours - both are unbelieveable :-) Pics are cool. T

  5. Hiya, looks like its all still going well. I've stopped worrying about you because you seem to have survived the kinda places hardened CIA agents avoid.....
Now that the wedding is over, I suppose its time I got to work on ensuring there is a suitable crash pad for you in London when you're ready to return.. althought I reckon I have a couple of months yet... cv writing is dull. I've booked an appointment with the eye laser clinic so when next I see you it should be without the aid of glass and plastic... hurrah.
so the big question, now that you are on your way to South America.. what was "the" highlight of Central America.

    hugs Jen.
