Volcan de Loda El Totumo, Cartagena

Yesterday i went to Volcan de Loda El Totumo just outside of Cartagena. Its the highest mud volcanoe in colombia which is lukewarm and fills the crater. It cost 15 euros and i have to say i was as happy as a little pig in my “therapeutic mineral mud.” When your finished your massage and chilling out you pop down to the lagoon to wash off but be warned the mud covers the sand in the lagoon. Ah it was great craic and after i chilled in Cartagena and then gabbed an overnight bus to Medellin.
After lunch i said goodby to the Carribean Sea.
It was smashing bus but the air con nearly freezed me to death. I didnt really feel like another city so straight away I jumped onto another bus to the more remote Manizales. Its still pretty built up but better chance of meeting locals and more to see. On the mini bus to Manizales there was a burst tyre, a nun and two young preachers. They were actually great craic and they did a round of the rosary beads and said a prayer for me lol. I got to see Rio Cauca which is one of the main rivers in colombia and i havent a clue what roads we took but it was serously high. Im staying in Mountain View and tomorrow im going on a day tour to Parque Ncional Los Nevados which should be class.
